Jul. 14, 2006 21:40 Nasrallah says ready for 'open war' with Israel [JPost]
Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah said on Friday evening that his group is ready for "open war" with Israel and warned that an Israeli warship operating off southern Beirut will be destroyed.

..."Look at the warship that has attacked Beirut, while it burns and sinks before your very eyes," Nasrallah said. It was not clear whether he meant that the warship had already been attacked.
I swear, between this guy and Iran's Mahmoud Ama-dinnerjacket, I think the Arab world has definitely pursued the wrong vocation. Instead of making such asses out of themselves with sophomoric attempts to take over the world, they should be writing screenplays for daytime TV. Seriously: after Israel kicks their butt, I'm seeing Univision in Nasrallah & Ama-dinnerjacket's near future.

Report: Syrians shoot at Israel: Lebanese sources predict provocation from Damascus [World Net Daily]
While Israeli military sources in the Golan Heights are reporting Syrian military gunfire directed inside the Jewish state, Lebanese political sources are telling WND they expect a provocation of some kind from Damascus.

Israeli Defense Forces are attempting to determine the exact source of the gunfire. If the source cannot be determined, sources say, Israel may choose to ignore or officially deny it occurred in an effort to avoid widening what is rapidly becoming a regional conflict.
